A few days ago I would have agreed with you that they should concentrate on one property (ie Jacobus).

Having read the results of Jacobus initial drilling, it appears that they have discovered that some of their original assumptions may not have been correct and they probably realised that very early on in the drilling process. this would explian why they stopped at 1068m rather than continuing to complete a phase I (originally planned at 1,500m).

They have done some more ground work on jacobus and hopefully the next drill phase will be more fruitful. In the mean time, had they been only working on Jacobus, we would have had last thursday NR only and a lot less hope than what appears to be the potential at Solomon's pillars and paint lake.

At this juncture, it is better to have several irons in the fire. Sage now has 4 properties (if you include Kerr's) that are being worked that are very close to properties that have had stellar results from other companies. Sage will get a boost from good news from all of those companies as well as any good news they can provide from their own exploration work.

imagine if we get good news from all of them ... who knows lol

on another note, there is the Kinross factor. Since K has become involved as a major shareholder, you can be certain that they have played a role in some fo the decision making. You can be certain that if any of the results from these 4 properties are remotely promising that raising more cash will not be an issue... $2 to $5 million to Kinross is less than 1% of their working capital and will fund a decent future exploration program.
