I'm wondering why this property suddenly popped up on the radar. There's not much on the Sage website. I guess you have to have a number of irons in the fire in case one of the properties is in danger of falling off the table( yes, that would be the Golden Extension). I did some digging around and found that the land immediately south is held by Alto Ventures ( Three Towers property), who did some drilling last year and came up with some decent, not great , gold values. The target is gold in and or adjacent to iron formation. It doesn't look like Alto is planning to do much this year so perhaps this could be an acquistion target ( via an option I presume since we can't afford anything else). Everyone would like to repeat the performance of the McLeod-Cockshutt mine, which produced about 1.5 mil oz from an iron formation type of deposit just to the east. The average grade was low ( around 5 g/t) so you have to find some large tonnages. Sage said in the last press release that they will start drilling on the property but I haven't found anything yet to show where and why.
