Focused on becoming a near-term Gold Producer
Further to Kinross... I just realized there are alot more details regarding the Consolidated Puma - Sage Gold amalgamation contained in the 168 page Management Information Circular posted to sedar under Consolidated Puma Mineral posted June 25, 2009 and dated June 23, 2009.
Of note...
"Support of the Significant Shareholder. The Significant Shareholder of the Company, which owns, controls or directs, directly or indirectly, approximately 35% of the Company Shares has agreed to vote in favour of the Arrangement Resolution and has entered into a Lock-Up Agreement."... i.e. Kinross (representing 35% of shares) has already supported this agreement.
Also regarding "dumping"... not gonna happen...
"In addition, the Significant Shareholder has agreed that for a period of three months following the Effective Date, it shall not sell or transfer more than 10% of the Sage Shares received by it in connection with the Arrangement without first discussing its intentions with Sage and that all commercially reasonable efforts will be made to effect any sale in an orderly manner in consultation with Sage (with Sage acting reasonably)."
Kinross being involved here is a very good thing. IMO of course.
