According to Nigel Lees in April 16, 2009 NR:

"We have expanded our array of drill targets at the Golden Extension now comprising the original discovery on vein 1, vein 2, the main vein on vein 4, the extensive quartz stockwork at the northwestern end of vein 4, and the new mineralized complex of veins 9 and 10. We will be able to test multiple targets from each drill platform as the vein systems are spatially close and we will also able to test new targets between the veins."

Therefore, would seem there were 4 primary targets for this drill program.

re: Vein 9 and 10...

From company response below...

"The 15m section with mineralized wall rock and VG was not tested."

From April 16, 2009 NR...

"Vein 9 comprises two discrete veins separated by up to 15 metres of sheared carbonatized and mineralized wall rock. Visible gold is present within the sheared wall rock between the north and south offshoots. It has a stripped length of 50 metres."

Not tested likely because of surface undulations? Either way... is it possible we could see some shallow gold assays over a disrtance of 10-15m?... Quote again... "Visible gold is present within the sheared wall rock between the north and south offshoots."... i.e. over a distance of 15m. I realize not all of the 15m section of wall rock likely not mineralized but we could still see gold assays over this distance.

Furthermore... maybe even more interesting... if these "two discrete veins" are seperated by just 15m on surface... they likely intersect not far below the surface... Maybe origniating from wider vein just below surface... I wish we knew angles of these veins.

Hopefully this drill program will answer all of these questions and more. Don't think that will be a problem based on previously announced drill targets.

"A 3,000-metre diamond drilling program is planned to commence in June and will be split into two phases. The first phase will target the high-priority targets on Golden Extension. A later program, during the late summer or early fall, will follow up on the June drilling and any new zones that are discovered throughout the summer prospecting and excavating work."

Therefore, I am assuming the first 1,500m (which is likely complete or almost complete by now IMO) will test these 4 targets detailed above.

We wait.

Dear shareholder,

Thank you for your inquiry. The following response was provided by SAGE Gold management.

Yes, those are all of the grabs and channels from Veins 9 + 10. The 15m section with mineralized wall rock and VG was not tested.

As mentioned in the PR, geological mapping will be done which is a key process in selecting drill targets. We have completed this phase of field mapping and work on the Golden Extension will be ongoing after spring breakup.

We will announce the start of drilling on the Golden Extension.

Regards,
