You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
Just because they have 5 new veins doesn't mean they've been stripped for any distance ... yet ... just means they know they are there and my guess is that they are likely VERY close together.
It would be interesting to know the location of these veins and there proximity to the "junction" of vein 1 & 5.
