Good evening,

Hope is an interesting word. This definition may or may not apply to Sage Gold. The word means a feeling with an expectation that what we want or need will happen. In certain circles it comes with the connotation of a strong confidence or great expectation that the event concerned will happen or the need will be met. Hope is not a weak passive, o boy I- I- hope something good will happen, or a golly gee whiz I wish [hope] this or that will happen. Hope has to have a proper object to focus upon and then it can be a strong anchor. Again ladies and gents I do not know if Sage Gold will make the big time. My stocks and plans were decimated in 2008. I even had to sell stock at a terricic loss BUT my hope regarding Sage remains strong. Yes, there are some [maybe many] IF's involved and yes, if is a little word with a big meaning. Nevertheless I do believe that Sage is a good object for the hope I do have regarding the financial part of my life. Sage is NOT the ultimate thing I want to see happen but it can be a "vehicle" that can be used to help reach certain goals. It is my hope for all of us that have invested hard earned cash into the company.

If these words sound to fanciful, then I apologize for that is not the intention of the post. The intention is that while we can't control the future, we can 'trust', which is hopes partner, that we have picked the right company in which to put our money. Look at it this way, if we did not pick the right investment choice or if world events dictate that 2009 will prove to be a horrible time in our history, then things will not go as our plan "A" wanted. I do believe that we will be in for some hard times ahead but my hope [ as defined above] is that the metals market will be the first to bounce back and that hope is extended to juniors like Sage Gold.

From my wife Jane and me, we hope [have a strong confidence that goes beyond a wish] that you and your families will have the best Christmas season that you have ever had.

Jerry Francis
