Shares of Bravo Venture Group (TSX: V.BVG, Stock Forum) were climbing in mid-afternoon trading Tuesday, following the announcement that bonanza-grade gold and silver had been returned from drill hole HR08-99 on its 100%-owned Homestake Ridge project in British Columbia. The find included a 9.4-metre intercept averaging 24.9 g/t gold and 1,042.9 g/t silver, of which 1.3 metres averaged 152.5 g/t gold and 6,075.7g/t silver.

Trading was halted for several hours in the morning and when it resumed, the price rose four cents to 48 cents, an increase of more than 9% on volume of almost 226,000.
