You are partialy right clint .. it is a low grade deposit ... but Newmont is mining Yanacocha in Peru at less than .5 g/tonne right now so it is possible. Having said that Yanacocha started at much higher grades. doesn't mean it's not possible in Hungary.
The real problem with CPN is the stigma attached to Gabriel resources which has not been able to get a mining permit from the Hungarian gov't. People in the know say that CPN's model is different as they won't need to use cyanide in the mining process... until they do a positive feasibility study (if possible) though, I agree they will never see full value for metal in the ground.
