I remember the 'drilling has started' notice posted on the website re: Kerrs... was a little disappointed when it unexpectedly disappeared with no notice but soon found out reason was a good one.

re: drilling at Kerrs... I now notice all documents I referenced previous are posted on sedar here. Among these there is also a drilling contract signed February 1, 2008. Pretty standard stuff I would assume but very interesting for me as I have never actually seen one before... detailed operating costs, daily reports, mobilization, storage, confidentiality clauses, security, moving costs, etc. etc. Fun to read IMO.

According to this drilling contract a minimum of 2,100m (400m hole already drilled, 1,700m to be drilled) and a maximum of 8,000m will be drilled but there is an option to extend contract. Maximum hole depth 500m, minimum hole depth 50m.

Remember, Kerrs used to be 'the property' for SGX before Jacobus and Onaman, etc. Nigel always said there is a mine there but they just haven't found it yet. A very reliable poster said that EXS did get intelligence from SGX regarding hole location for their most recent drill campaign (i.e. 16.6 G/T AU OVER 12.0m)... we have also been told SGX has altered drilling plans in light of this NEW significant discovery by EXS... therefore, I am sure if SGX did share 'their toys' with EXS... EXS will return/is returning the favour.

For those who don't realize this... previous Kerrs drilling was further NW (along SGX 'trend') from recent EXS discovery hole... SGX has never drilled near where EXS is drilling. To see how close EXS drilling is to SGX Kerrs property see excellent longbomb map here and here (only approx. locations I know but I think they are very close to true locations). People should also note HOW BIG Kerrs property has become... the entire northern, eastern and western sections of SGX claims on this map are new... size of Kerrs property has increased from ~2,200 acres in 2004 to 18,883 acres in Feb 2007 (i.e. x9).

I have posted this before and will likely post again to remind people... there has been alot of work ongoing during these quiet summer months. Results of this work will pay off in the coming months IMO.
