Focused on becoming a near-term Gold Producer
regarding sage
i did reduce my position and it was an easy decision
the lack of follow up to shareholders is the main one
of course you can tell me that kodiak do not give much more information at this point, true but kxl is in a so much better spot
they had already tons of result and even if it is not a done deal for a takeover yet i do not think they are far away .
at the stage where sage sit , they need to be 10 times more effective on delivery informations to their shareholders and nothing will prevent sale off if they keep their people in the dark.
its a very young junior corp whit very few accomplishments , the ice is thin , very very thin for those corp and even more in the uncertain period as those we are in right now
so conclusion there is 2 possibilities in my mind
1- they do not care if shareholders leave and panic because they do know that they have someting very very hot that wasn t release yet and they have no fear for the share price in the long term.
2- they are themself in the dark in bad shape do not have a clear plan and did not hit results they expected and holding results because they do not want to release bad things in such bad conditions.
and we can speculate infinity time 10 thats why its so important to be transparent and clear whit shareholders otherwise they can imagine anything and sale .
i for myself tough it was a 50-50 shot whit the info i had and i wasn t feeling safe enough to keep a large core position in this situation.
couple of months ago i was really impressed by management effort to deliver info and answer question that fast , to be honnest i did not see that often before but since then it goes from best to worst.
what happened?
i don t know but i prefer being on the sideline for the moment and i think i m not the only one .
