Don't forget there's a plan afoot, ( albeit not a very well-known one) to create a common currency for North America. We all know that no mere civilian in Canada or the U.S. has any interest in that happening, EVER, so the only time it could be brought in would be:
(A) if the U.S. dollar became worthless ( then people would see the "wisdom" of introducing a new currency that actually had some value)
and
(B) in the time of upheaval and/or crisis ( i.e. people without money find it difficult to organize and resist).
I know this all sounds a little bit out there, but you have to wonder why the U.S. keeps turning a blind eye to the actions of the Fed, churning out money on their printing press day after day and devaluing the dollar.
At any rate, the forces behind the Fed still want to preserve their capital, so they will move to gold and resource stocks while the rest of the country takes the fall.
Makes Sage look pretty resilient, under these conditions, I would say.
And now for that coffee....
