February 29, 2008...

The last day SGX showed sign of strength... 8.9 million shares traded, open of 37 cents... gap up from 31 cents the day before... up from 25 cents just a couple of weeks previous.. likely the combined result of ~1.5 million shorts convered between Feb. 15-29th and NEWS! On February 29, 2008, SGX had 2 virtually simultaneous NRs... one just before the open and one just after the open. Based on proce movement and volume, an effective strategy that day. However, despite 2 great NRs and very strong SP movement that day SGX SP drifted significantly lower in the day's that followed. Ever since SGX has gradually drifted lower and lower DESPITE 3 positive NRS... including one halt. Discouraging to say the least. But heck... join the club.

My point?... We may be getting anxious, myself included, but we can't ignore the current market sentiment... and the current market sentiment in the junior market for some time now has been that good news means nothing. SGX is seems to be following a different strategy now and IMO that is a good thing. Good news x2? x3? per day will come again. Fundamentals have not changed but have likely improved and LOTS of work is ongoing as planned.

P.S. My dream day... a guy gotta dream :D... likely not on the same day but most stuff here is more than possible... may even get a big suprise or two... who knows...

KXL GM NR w/ massive results extending Au to SGX border;

SGX SE Jacobus NR w/ fantastic grab and channel sample results, GM extension confirmation, total vein widths and lengths, and drilling announcement;

SGX massive Onaman NR w/ lots of great drill results, extension of Lynx zones, increased land position, favourable metallurgy results, and talk of production decision (i.e. NI 43-101 and feasibility study), stripping, channel sampling, drilling new zones/property;

Gold Hill NR w/ more great results and new high-grade zones discovered over significant width, more drilling planned;

Kerrs NR w/ drilling announcement and explanation re: EXS recent discovery hole and likelihood continues onto SGX property and maybe drilling announcement on this part of property;

Pony Spur NR w/ drilling announcement;

Anything else? Where will all that put SP? :D
