Jerry, there are lots of options available.
- I've seen companies sell off properties for cash and pay out a large cash dividend to shareholders for value received.
- I've seen companies spin off properties into new companies (VMS is doing this now)
- JVs
- option agreements.
- the dreaded reverse split to raise money in house at reasonable rates
All of the above are possible
problem is, sage properties (IMO) are worth more than they're getting credit for, so do you sell the farm or wait. They have enough cash to drill up some good prospects until at least year end. Let's wait and see what happens.
