Good morning,

W6w, I believe that you are correct in your take concerning not being surprised to see some results from SGX around the same time as one or two other companies releases.

Please folks, I am trying to be careful about saying this wrong and if I fail, I expect to be rebuked by Mike. In the paragraph below, I am NOT making reference to Sage Gold nor am I hinting in a vague way that SGX has ever used that tactic. It is just historical data.

First of all, I do not believe that a company can 'hold' assay results and release them 'when they want to'. I suppose that in the past if some companies did not pay the assay fee that they did not get the OFFICIAL hard copy of the results. From what I understand, that tactic is not as readily available to them now. Sometimes a company can legally hold back releasing assay results IF those results are part of a batch AND if within that group of holes, there is a surprise that requires further attention [a different kind of assay] then it is possible that the whole group of assays can be held back until the final verdict is rendered on just a few holes in a group. I do not care who says what to you guys and girls, that has happened before. Again, I do NOT say that SGX has ever employed that tactic.

Concerning 2008 and what IS happening with the majors and juniors in todays market, I do believe that the whole metals market sector HAS TO do something in an attempt to 'fight back'. There are huge powerful entities that have had an agenda that is counter productive to the metals market sector at large. This HAS been established by true experts in the business world. You just have to look at the profit margins and discoveries of some of the big gold, silver, etc. companies as well as the juniors that are rising stars and you will see that the stock prices are down EVEN AFTER a great discovery is verified.

If there is a legal and proper way for Sage Gold to employ some type of tactic that will enhance the value of a solid release, then they should carry it out. If it is not so coincidental that a few other companies that have pending results and are getting ready to release them, then perhaps the world will sit up and take notice that in a certain area of the planet, something big is stirring and the companies involved SHOULD hit the market with rapid fire assay results and OTHER positive developments and do it in as close a succession as possible, as a hoped for tactical answer to the odds that are stacked against them. Perhaps I am all wrong here but one thing is for sure a good defense is still an offence and the industry at large should be putting on their thinking caps and legally fight back in the courts AND in the 'streets' so to speak. I was a NYPD guy and you have to take the streets or they will take the criminal justice system. People are the same and in the business world some of these greedy guys need to be legally "tatooed".

Best wishes,

Jerry Francis
