Being a small company in the mining world one would expect that if the Gearldton/Beardsmore area shows the earlier results that they do indeed have the real thing up there, then I really don't think that Sage Gold, Kodiak, Ontex, or Alto have much of a chance in becoming a producing mining company as the cash rich majors will be looking to pick the area play apart with big offers for the next big discovery. I highly doubt that with great results and a proven resource that the offers will come hard and swift! The majors have record earnings due to the price of gold and will be looking to spend it on additional reserves where juniors have done all the leg work.
