I believe that we may see a dip in the gold prices. I also do not believe that the current increase in gold's price was felt in the junior m & m markets to the degree that one might expect it should have.

IMO, the partial reason is because the hedge funds have been either shorting the stocks or utilizing some other type of man made scheme/maneuvering on a regular basis in order to regroup some of their losses from their counterfeit paper products they have been pushing. I am sure there is more to it than that but some factor[s] beyond Sage have been at work and are at least partially responsible for the share price drifting down.

This is why you cannot get carried away with what can be seen when frequently it is what can't be seen that is the driving force behind a stocks increase or decrease in the share price. If the metal mining sector is very healthy and just a few majors and or junior companies are languishing then we can look at those companies and try to find out the why behind it

This is why I am viewing SGX as a solid investment and not as a near term trading opportunity. It is difficult for a company to come out with consistant positive news as they just can not manufacture it and the markets greed/fear factors can be seen more easily as a driving force than can the the day-to-day behind the scenes work of a young developing junior mining company.

Best wishes guys n' gals,

Jerry Francis
