Just getting a chance to check out your handy work. Great job! Very nice visuals. Like I said I am sure SGX is working on an updated drill hole map and I am sure this will be shared with us in due course. In the meantime, your maps are great.
These were my sentiments exactly. Although they do not explicitly state it in the release (nor do I think they were obligated to do so as this was not the purpose of this initial Jacobus release or probably the purpose of the initial phase of the drilling progam), the gold values they do report do not appear to be anywhere near the infamous SJ07-07 unexpected Au interesction (15.15 g/t Au over 0.73m) reported in the July 24th, 2007 results. Therefore, although low, these NEW gold intersections actually represent another positive development. You are correct, there is no indication on the maps we have as to where hole SJ07-38 is located, but the other two, 24 and 31, appear to be to "test lateral and down-dip extensions of a historical nickel and copper resource" (i.e. objective 1 of 2 of this 8,000m drilling program).
Like I said, I believe the next set of results MAY contain the holes to test the gold mineralization in SJ07-07. But then again they may not. Remember we have 6 holes pending from the first 4,000m BUT we also have an additional 4,000m from the original program announced on Oct 4, 2007 to be drilled in February 2008. This second 4,000m may contain the SJ07-07 Au re-test. Sounds like a good question to include in Wednesdays Q&A. I will submit.
For those not yet confused... also remember that this SJ07-07 Au re-test is not related to the eastern portion of Jacobus and the heavily anticipated possible Golden Mile extension re: 10ft wide quartz vein. These are different areas of the Jacobus property. As stated in the last release "Line cutting, road building, surface stripping, channel sampling and drilling are planned to explore the gold potential on the eastern part of the property." This work is just getting underway or will/should be underway soon.
Lot of news to come folks. Other than SP right about now :( I think 2008 is getting off to a great start. Believe it or not! SP will come back IMO. Just looking into selling last week and appears to be obvious PP partcipants selling to replace shares with warrants... but that's for another post! :D
