Re-read Oct 4th release. From Oct. 4th release:

"Sage has re-examined core sections from previous drilling and has interpreted that the gold-bearing zone is also present in hole 9. "

Key words being "the gold-bearing zone"... not "gold".

In other words, with hole SJ07-09 they reached a zone that indicated gold would be present (i.e. similar zone/mineralization as SJ07-07 where gold was found) but did not reach the actual gold (as they did with SJ07-07) because of the fault and, therefore, not reaching the intended target.

Could explain 'black mineralization/core coming out of the hole for 2 days' (i.e. gold-bearing zone?) as reported here by other posters who contacted driller. (?)
