...you asked about Private messaging...if you are above mail room ...you can send a PM to another poster by clicking on his Avatar or name and scrolling down to where it has a box saying contact "red~one" or whatever...It goes to that person's private Email address.

It will not work if the person you want to contact has his/her contact function disabled in their profile.
