09:23 AM EST, 02/13/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Probe Metals (PRB.V) said Tuesday that results from the 2017 drill program at its wholly owned Val-d'Or East project near Val-d'Or, Quebec showed that New Beliveau Deposit resource expansion drilling to the West returned "significant" intercept grading 5.3 g/t Au over 10.1 metres.
Other highlights of the results included: South Zone expansion drilling intersects up to 12 g/t Au over 3.2 metres to the east, Highway Zone returned 9.5 g/t Au over 3 metres in expansion drilling to the east, and North Zone resource expansion drilling to the West returned 2.8 g/t Au over 7.1 metres.
The company has received results from 24 drill holes, totaling 12,273 metres, which indicate continued expansion of all four gold zones. It said it expects an updated resource estimate, incorporating new drill results from the 2016 and 2017 program.
Shares on Monday climbed 2.2% to $1.40 apiece.
