Yes, El - P. I argee with the domsayers on the dollar. One of the challenges any investor faces is one of timing.

Gold seems to be whipsawing back and forth much more aggresively lately. I think its the difference between physical exchange ( gold rising ) and Contract Knockdown ( paper )

All the way along...volumes into banks and governments have been picking up lots of gold.

Russia and others are picking 15-30 tons here and there.

The chinese markets and India have been consuming. China consumed in one month...all the possible production on the planet.

See, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong and other volumes.

As for the Dolloar : Yes the U.S dollar is rising..this wil make it difficult for them to export newer goods outside the Country. Toyota is going to build TACOMA's along side the Tundra's and Sequoia's....but is having a re-think.

NAFTA is intact, but the currencies and labour relfect a different reality. NAFTA is outdated and thats why a lot of car companies are building cars and components in Mexico. Labor savings is tremendous since they work for 10 % of what a canadian or U.S. will get for labour. Ironically, the people buying the mexican built cars and components need to buy them in U.S. dollars...but with Jobs dissappearing where is the money going to come from ?

U.S Dollar High is temporary...and is rising because all other fiat currencies are doing the same thing...spinning out trillions in currency to bolster their economies.

In the U.S. very few good Job's have been created. It's a McJob economy (at best )

Debt is Debt.....the piper need to be paid ! eventually.

U.S Economy looks good because people can purchase more and more "Stuff". But less and less Jobs to pay for it.

With Low oil...they can consume all they want and in fact SUV sales are taknig off.

The next Crash will be very ugly...it will make 2008 look like dropped pennies.

The world is progressing and what you need is a decent car, food and shelter. When some or all of this starts to go away....it ain't pretty.

Gold will rise again...Chiness are buying it like crazy...I posted the Shanghai Gold exchange links. 10's of thousands of kilograms settled daily !
