Well, well, well...nice to see the pom poms out from those that can see the future of POG, Goldcorp, Oil, and their wifes rack. I hope they all hold up well.

I really dont care if my analysis bothers those on the Dark Side. I really dont care if you feel like I already made enough on my position. I really dont care if you love Goldcorp and its average, and perhaps shaky, dividend.

You can call it sour grapes, or greed, or whatever you want. I believe in my gut that we were sold out. Yeah, I did well. But I earned it by putting my own capital at risk, by doing my own DD, by hanging in there while others fled. And I never blamed anybody for doing what they did for their own reasons. But trust me, there are snakes in this deal...in the Board room and on this Board. So for every cent, nickle, or dollar I didnt get...they did.

So Im told on this forum that Goldcorp will "go back up" when POG rises. Thanks Steven Hawkings, I would have tripped over a rising POG lifting gold stocks if you didnt point it out to me. The deal with Goldcorp should have been structured to protect shareholders from a decline in Goldcorps price. That could have been hashed out over one more snifter.

If your okay with this deal, good for you. Just dont analyze it too deeply. You can say the price would be below $2.00. Who knows? Funny, but whenever that happened in the past most were adding shares, and telling others to do the same. We have no news, no results, and no idea how our SP would have moved.

Look at it this way...lets pretend you bought your house in January of 2009 for $500K. Today it is estimated to be worth $950K. You listed it and your realtor just sold it for $750K. Wait. Why are you pissed? You still made out great! Stop complaining.

You are pissed because you got screwed. And hard enough to spill your scotch on your laptop.

The timing was all wrong. And Dave & the Board stole your time. Yes, it was for sale...on the discount rack, not your wifes.
