The timing of two events needs more daylight. Who were the anonymous buyers of the non-brokered flow through deal in August? Was Goldcorp part of the deal? If so, did they and others receive non-public info in exchange for the usual four month hold? Was any of that insight revealed publicly before the Goldcorp offer, which came close on the heels of the expiration of the hold period? (No is the right answer.) To me, the structure of the New Probe looks hurried, largely because it has NO access to exploration on the Borden land package the company just bought. Does that suggests the offer was only good through the weekend, with US markets closed Monday. Did someone on the board or with Goldcorp intimate that the fiduciary duty of the Probe board would be brought into play if they did not sign before markets reopened? Why does it feel like everything changed after Jaime joined the Board? Did the land owners demand a "Big Hitter" CEO, or iwas that speculation just a red herring? How about letting a little sun shine in? If this was a preemptive raid with questionable disclosure (ethically if not by the tortured process of today's courts), might the same company make similar "just get it done" decisions in other areas, possibly leading to subsequent liabilities we don't imagine now? Thanks for the liquidity, but I can't get comfortable with keeping a lot of GG based on all the open questions. Hope for the sake of all Probe holders I'm just being a bit paranoid, but Intel's Andy Grove was right on that subject. NSS
