You only get NEW Probe shares if you tender your share to Goldgorp as part of the 'deal'.

If you sell your shares to someone before the deal closes they get the shares of NEW Probe you get whatever you sold them for.

As of close Probe was selling for 1/2 cent above the straight 0.1755 value of Goldcorp shares. So whoever is buying the probe share in the market is essentially getting the NEW Probe shares for free with the risk that Goldcorp stays at or above the price they are paying.
