Hello WtlessB,
Just saw your message. While waiting for the PRB universe to unfold, may be we could put on our thinking caps on for some outside-the-box ideas for someone to deliver them to Dave. Suggest that you do the honour.
A couple of ideas to start the ball rolling:
1. Inform the lumber people that PRB would like to suspend the current discussion within a week, since there seems to be no agreement in sight. Then, terminate the discussion at the end of that one week, assuming that there is no positive response from the lumber people.
2. In parallel, start some initial preparation for an underground operation (e.g. digging up a small pit and building a ramp which could be used also for bulk sampling) for mining the deposit under the lake, with an intention to by pass the 50% JV and the wedge area. PRB does not need to spell out all the details of the intention. Let people speculate. Pretty soon everybody in Chapleau would know what PRB is planning to do. This is not bluffing, since PRB might want to do just that, once the deposit under the lake becomes significant, from additional drilling results (infill and extension to the other side of the lake) to support a stand-alone UG operation.
On a second thought, perhaps PRB could just present a conceptual engineering design/drawing, there would be no need to spell out anything. Let the drawing do the talking.
3. ...........................Anyone?
