I've never understood it either. The only thing I can think of is that there are not enough interested parties and those that are, are not trading.

But what I can't get is that the price is going down rather then up as it means to me that someone was ready to relinquish the stock at that price. That aspect is what makes me think that the stock is actually being manipulated by someone possibly that is accumulating or artificially trying to hold the stock down for some reason down the road.
