Nice concept. However, given the current climate we would end up with endless discussions to make sure that it will be done right, all across Canada. It will not happen during the next 50 years, unless there is a massive change of heart and mind.

It's just too long for any short, medium, long-term investors. Anything that has a 5-year starting date would fall outside the cross hair of conventional investors, like myself. One-year target is just fine, 3-year is tolerable, but 5-year and beyond would cross the line in the sand (i.e., it will be tossed to the Death Valley, lol).
