Who should we believe?

That’s the question that was on my mind this morning when I ventured out for a long walk. I’m slowly coming to the realization that the emphasis on the HGZ is necessary given the price of gold. I sure Dave and his team had many discussion on this topic before releasing the information to all investors. I can only imagine that many had some insight and influence on this discussion. The point I’m trying to make is that many must have been involved in this type of discussion. I think it’s safe to say that many had information on what was coming down the pipe. They also knew the impact it would have on the stock price. This would explain the endless barrage of small lot sales we have seen over the last few months.
There are those who call the sales of 100 share lots as manipulation. This is misleading and sends the wrong message to shareholders on this forum. Large volume small lot sales are used to liquidate large orders while minimizing the impact on the stock. The seller gets the best value during the sale. It’s my belief that those who knew about the impending change, outlined in the in the last news release, took advantage of the situation by selling large volume of shares.
So what is the next step? The news is out now and all of the analysts except Scotia are standing behind Probe and cheering the latest news release. Seems to me they got what they wanted all along. My favourite comment is on the reports and states the following, “Short term pain for long term gain.” My question is, “short term pain for whom?” I don’t believe it includes all shareholders. Do we have any more surprises to contend with?
There is one person I need to talk to and he is an exception in the analyst crowd. I simply want to know why he is pinning a “DANGER” sign on Probe. He seems well educated and is backed by one of Canada’s largest banks. Is he telling the truth or playing games for profit? I don't think he is suffering from diminished mental capacity.
A mountain of positive analyst reports and Rosehill is still puzzled over the latest news.
