Looking good for drilling through to the end of March. Although things are starting to warm up we are forecasted to have below normal temperatures for the rest of March and for having cold nights. Looks like night cooling will trump day melting for now. We are starting to warm up and it doesn't take much to shift the balance to melting and when it happens it happens fast.

My read of the indicators are there that the drills will be off the ice in early April. Sooner if it warms up faster, have strong winds, jet stream shifts, strong full moons etc. For now things look good.
