Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe this is a double post.
Anyway, here is some interpretation/comments:
- HGZ: The depth of the HGZ varies from "shallow to deeper" as indicated in the NR. Take a quick look at some x-sections shown in PRB website.
- Top-cut: Some of the sections show extremely high grades. In fact it would be informative to show the actual assay values to give people some sense of the variation of the deposit grade. There is an attempt to average out the section as shown in the NR, essentially to flatten out the peaks.
PRB would estimate the potential resource using its sophisticate model to crank out the numbers. In addition, they would be expected to have some kind of visualization model, e.g. Corebox, which show various zones, high, medium low grades.
Kaiser: His guesstimate is much less sophisticated since he does not have the detailed information and the sophisticated sofware. Sometime analysts just "eyeball" the results and use very simple models to come up with a rough, order of magnitude, value. Conservative analysts would tend to underestimate the resource to protect their reputation and to come up with a lower value for their target SP. Others for other reasons may overestimate the resource to pump up the SP. The game people play.
Hope the above would help.
