Message: Some observations on the latest HGZ results (21 Aug NR)

- Very nice results: continuity of the HGZ, etc, as Dave has pointed out in the NR. And this would help the resource estimate.

- Perhaps I have missed the discussion on the drill locations, but the NR did not mention if the drill platforms were located on the shore, i.e. on the wedge claims (my speculation). If this is true then why there was no discussion, or remark on this. Perhaps, Dave wants to keep it a secret? But how could this be kept as a secret when the drilling activities are just some 100m or so (could be less) from the shore? Perhaps, this is an open secret for the town people (drillers would talk at their favourite watering holes in Chapleau, no?); and fishing experts can see this from a boat or from driving around the area.

While waiting for a confirmation, let's just assume that they did drill from the shore and the drill platforms were set up on the wedge claims (of course, with permission from the claim holder(s).

- Most of the poking around was to confirm the continuity of HGZ zone and its potential extension to the SW (width increase), since most of the holes ended up in the SW of the "red" HGZ (see drill plan).

One exception is hole 464 (Section 1700SE) which stopped some short distance NE of the red HGZ. The intercept was 9m @2.5gpt which is not bad as an indication that there is a possibility that the HGZ could extend (say by 50-100m) toward the NE, but it may not be enough to get underneath the wedge claim.

In other words, the conspiracy theory says, the wedge claims do not host the HGZ on that part to the NE. But, the way the red HGZ was drawn, there is some implication that the HGZ could cross the wedge for some 200m toward the NW. However, this does not have any supporting data, except perhaps the holes in sections 1500SE and 1550SE. Since I don't have an accurate map of the cove shoreline, it's not clear if the intercepts from these holes lie underneath the wedge claim.

BTW, what exactly happened to hole 460? the NR says "deviated off section and did not reach the zone". Does anyone know what this mean? So, it went off course (just like the other holes, since their drill paths all look curvy and "deviate" from the sections), but what is the path looks like, and what are the cross-section results ("did not reach the zone" = zero gpt along the entire lenght of the hole?).

It would be more believable (fewer questions raised) to say that the drill bit got stuck or broken.

Speculation/confirmation, anyone?
