The steam roller just keeps sizing down this Index. Had thought originally that the 1000 level might hold up here but was wrong. I remember years ago when I owned a stock called Silver Century and it tanked, it really tanked. Just out of complete frutration and wishing for the moon I put in two 2 cent bids and was eventually filled in size but there was not that much money involved. To this day, it was the best investment I ever made raking in unbelievable 1000'a of percentage point returns.
If you can for some time, forget about what has preceded in the form of equity depreciation(as difficult as it is), or the slaughter of some shares, and concentrate possibly on tomorrow with the great leverage(IMO) that current prices offer, you could take a cheap ride on some of the grossly beaten down ones that might result in extreme leverage to the upside when this thing finally turns. It has happened to me more than once. That's my mindset when I feel trapped and helpless wishing for many moons to pass quickly until it's over.
