We might as well throw PRB/BC in the postulated scenario for consolidation of chromite projects in the RoF. BC is a nice and tidy chunk of deposit, which may be part of the same ore body of either BT or BD.
In addition, it's the real estate that the neighbours such as CLF and KWG would love to lay their hands on. In their mine plans (both CLF and KWG plans) the BC property was used for dumping waste rock (not on top of the deposit though...so considerate and clever) and transportation routes including building mine infrastructure and the RR loop to the other side (west) of the river, passing near NOT. May be there is a master plan stashed away somewhere.
It sounds like CLF is sending out some sort of signal for attracting a partner with a deeper pocket.
