Thanks for the info brutus. I understand that a turn will eventually come but WHEN is the question. Most folks listening to the sector experts mostly have losses and stay in the group most on celebrated hope. I checked one of my positions last week and it was at 6 cents down from over a dollar. Another one isn't even quoted anymore. I look at the CDNX chart and it's miserable. I lightened up in the sector explorers by accident late in 2011 because I had to pay off one of my RV's and not one of these experts told anyone that big weakness was on its way.
Years ago I had a friend that was a broker at E.F. Hutton in the Universal City office and he was depressed at losing customers. E.F. Hutton was recommending McDonald Douglas from highs all the way to the bottom for a decline of nearly 80% or more. I've come to the conclusion that attempting to bottom fish is a suckers game. The smart thing these so-called experts could help the public with is telling us when important turns have taken place instead of telling us what great buys these current low levels are, lacking confirmation by the market that things have bottomed.
I know Sinclair has already called a bottom in gold but has gold, in fact, really bottomed?
My biggest and best position I hold, by far, is Probe. Dave is a proven winner, these other guys, I just don't know.
