It is suspected that CIBC's trading desk sells short term strength on anything. Some weeks back they appeared to get hooked shorting PRB and they had to carry the position with a loss for days until they got it back in. It is suspected these guys know very little concerning the company and are just in it for a quick flip. Maybe they get forced to carry their position overnight, again, just in time for a major announcement the following day.
