Probe Mines is a well-funded explorer focused on its Borden Lake Project, a new multi-million
ounce gold discovery in Ontario, Canada. Fast approaching development stage, it is located near
Chapleau, Ontario, within 1km of a major highway and close to well-developed infrastructure.
Borden Lake represents a surface gold discovery, identified over an area that is 2,100m long by up
to 200m wide with depths of up to 450m. The gold zone is characterized by a persistent
higher-grade core surrounded by lower-grade mineralization and is ideally oriented for open-pit
design.
An updated NI 43-101 Resource Estimate was released in April 2012. Significant improvement was
achieved with a Global Resource of 5.8 million oz @ 0.7 g/t Au; including the delineation of a
discernible higher-grade core that could provide achievable, alternative development scenarios less
sensitive to the parameters affecting most low-grade bulk tonnage deposits. Initial metallurgical
tests indicate recoveries of up to 92.6% Au; phase II is underway.
The PEA which is anticipated in H2 2012 and the PFS in H1 2013, are expected to have significant
impact on the advancement of the project.
