Brutus,thanks for providing this on this forum. Very revealing on what is going on. Virtually every gold junior ( and many seniors ) have been taken down by these tactics. These naked shorters think no one knows what they are doing, but we have the J. Sinclairs that do know what is taking place.

The ordinary investor is not aware of all this,thinking it is just the problematic economy causing the slide , when in fact the fraudsters are just taking advantage of the ecomomic situation to fleece us. Trouble is that for us ordinaries we have no real way of knowing the extent of the naked shorting. We see the regular shorting positions on the 15th and end of each month,but these totals do not reveal the naked shorts and when we see a decline in the short position,it makes us feel better but we do not know the status of the naked.

Rules need to be changed so that the naked postions get exposed immediately and the perpretators are prosecuted. It was shocking to note that the outstanding shares in a particular company were 1 million and yet the rollup of all shares held by investors in it totalled 12 million shares. Outright fraud,IMO.

We need some mechanisms that quickly give investors a rollup position on all shares held in a particular company so that the naked get exposed. Until this is done , i sense the fraudsters will just continue to fleece the public . We would likely be shocked to learn how many investment institutions are likely involved in this deplorable action with our funds.
