Thanks for the excellent article. It's really too bad that some people always seem to feel that they are better than the rest of the hard working people and have to steal from them. Nothing was worse for us here in California than the final cost of $40 to $50 billion dollars in overcharged electricity bills during 2000 and 2001 when rogue traders representing Enron and the likes decided to run rigged price games on us some by the names of "Fat Boy" and "Death Star."
Just the other day in northern Californa Toshiba was hit with a $87 million fine for conspiring to fix prices of liquid crystal displays. Crooks are in the bushes all over the place. Sherbrooke, Que. with their gas price fixing participants along with Sun Oil in Ontario are not exceptions.
What should really boggle the mind is the stealing that goes on unreported and under-investigated. And all along we are told that we have to be good little boys and girls or else. What banker is being watched as closely as we are while driving on the road being constantly eye-balled for infractions by the men in blue?
The good news is that the new government in Iceland is making bankers pay for their past sins. Also, the Bank of England, susprisingly, is distancing themselves from Barclay's on their price fixing scandal. In the U.S., WELL, the people have been repeatedly warned by accomplished professionals to steer clear of the big banksters but the great majority insist in remaining loyal to them. BIG MISTAKE!! Wake up people, the bank is no longer a genuine money storage facility - IT'S A GAMBLING CASINO and you are backing them.
