Research Analyst, Mining - Precious Metals Ali Khan joined the Stonecap mining research team in Toronto in February 2012, where he focuses on junior and medium capitalization exploration and development mining companies operating in both domestic and international markets. Ali has worked as a mining engineer and as a consultant within the mining sector. Prior to joining Stonecap, Ali worked with international mining engineering consultancies, first at AMEC and later with Snowden. His engineering career has involved him in base and precious metals projects within North and South America, as well as working in projects engineering role at Goldcorp, Red Lake Mine. He then joined the mining equity research group at Scotia Capital, where he supported the precious metals research group. He currently holds a Bachelors of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from the University of British Columbia and has an MBA from Colorado State University.
