Let's play poker. Texas Hold'em, table limits
2 FIRST CARDS: PRB 10 ♠ (cash), J ♠ (Goldex) NOT A STRONG HAND
Big Blind = $0.50 per share
First bettor (retail) = check
Next bettor (long time holder) = raise to $1.00 (minimum bet allowed)
holds 2 Q
Greedy pro shark = call the $1.00 bet (holds A and K)
PRB = call the $1.00 bet
First bettor (retail) = call the $1.00 bet
THE FLOP (3 cards): 10 ♠ (LSG JV), K ♠ (Black Creek) 3 ♦
First bettor (retail) = check (no bet)
Next bettor (long time holder) = raise to $1.25 bet (holds 2Q 1A, hoping for improvement)
Greedy pro shark = raise call the $1.50 bet
PRB = call the $1.50 bet (sand bagging hoping to draw in greedy pros)
First bettor = call the $1,25 bet
THE TURN (1 CARD): = A♠ (Boren Lake) (PRB with highest Royal Straight Flush)-
First bettor (retail) = folds (no bet)
Next bettor (long time holder) = check (no bet) (now with 2Qs and 2As) (would win most)
greedy pro shark = raise to $3.00 bet (now with 2 Qs and 2As) (would win most)
PRB = call the $3.00 bet (sand bagging hoping to draw in greedy pros)
Next bettor (long time holder) = raise to $3.25 bet (betting a strong hand of 2 Qs and 2 As))
Greedy pro shark) = raise to $4.00 bet (now with 2 Qs and 2As) (would win most)
(senses weakness in Next Bettor and PRB)
Next bettor (long time holder) = calls the $4.00 bet (shows weakness)
PRB = calls the $4.00 bet (shows weakness)
THE RIVER (1 CARD): = 7♥ no help to anyone
Next bettor (long time holder) = check ( has pair Qs plus 2 As) Pretty good hand
Greedy pro Shark = raise to $4.50 bet (holds 2 As and 2 Ks) Very good hand
PRB = declares "all in" amounts to $7.50 per share
Next bettor (long time holder) = Fold now sees the PRB sand bag trap
Greedy pro shark = calls the "all in" bet (believing PRB is faking a strong hand, and
2 As and 2 Ks is a very good hand)
PRB now turns the hole cards up showing the Royal Straight Flush and scoops up all the chips.
I can dream, can't I!!!
