Is it as simple as someone needs to unload and get the best price for their shares so they wait for news. Simultaneously someone knows that heavy dumping is going to transpire they take advantage of the move by covering their short position. This is what I mean by inside information. The only thing today’s news provides is a cover/catalyst for the dirty work.
