You observation is kind of interesting. Remember that no too long ago, NOT traded BC for PRB land around Eagle-1? This was a good move then (even now) because NOT want as much as possible the real estate around Eagle-1 (Note: FNC is next). But, now Baosteel wants Nickel and Chromite, as well, for their stainless steel operation, and guess who has that piece of land leading to the area where CLF wants to build its infrastructures for the proposed mine... and hosting BC which butts right into BD? Hint: PRB.

It would be interesting to see who's talking to whom at PDAC. CLF would certainly feel edgy if it saw Mr. Li Lin mingling and becoming BFF with the PRB mob, particularly in some hospitality suites (spotters, i.e. paid observers, may be present everywhere to keep an eye on the social scene). In fact, it's not only CLF versus Baosteel, but it's everybody (KWG, PRB, FNC, NOT, and perhaps other potential players who want to play the role of "kingmaker"...to stick it to CLF, but would take the money in a quick flip) would be watching one another. PDAC is more than a booth or some sample display in the core shack. It would be the extra-curriculum activities that count, just like at conferences, who would want to sit in the meeting room listening to the boring speeches. Junior people would be sent in there to keep them busy and of course for training purposes, while the senior folks would sneak out and having private meetings in the halls.

A typical (hypothetical of course, using fictitious names) discussion could be something like:

"So, Franky what would you say if we sweetened up the deal and paid 4x the current SP"?

Franky: "Err, I am not sure if that would be worth my time taking that to our board. I would not even dare convening a board meeting for 10x".

Mr. B: "How about 12x the SP?

Franky: "I would still be a bind, but I will see what I can do, but don't get surprised if I come back with a black eye". Mr. B.: "Got my cell number?" Franky: "Uh huh".
