The rant was long. Amost quit at about 1/3 mark, but then he hit some interesting points. Just have to force yourselves watching the whole thing, and try to ignore Ezra's personality.

It's eye opening when the situation is looked at from various angles. Knee jerk reactions to score political spotlight may not help solving the problems, which are many layers deep. Or, to put it another way: Things are not so obvious as they seem to be.

Advice to the press folks who go after "breaking news": Roll your tongue seven times before assigning sin.

Since this would affect the mining activities directly in the FN regions, mining companies should somehow devise a scheme to assist the FNs directly at the grassroot level (e.g. jobs, assistance to improve the housing conditions as part of the job benefits, creating some opportunities for skill development such as car, truck maintenance...and I just throw this one in for discussion: fixing up good conditioned ski-doos for resale or rental to tourists or the folks in the south rather than ditching them).

Too much bureaucracy is no good anywhere, just look at the aid money to poor nations... a small percentage, say 10%, of the funding would trickle down to the starving people and 90% somewhere else.
