I would gather why BMO is the seller is because those who purchased the placement are executing trades for the groups that took down the placement, it's payback. The next deal that BMO brings, the groups will be shown the deal. It's a nice cycle. BMO gets the IB $$ and commissions from the trades. What I would like to see BMO do is find buyers for the sellers so they just cross the stock, and get even more in commissions.

Not all groups will sell their stock through the group that brought the deal.
