Message: Will Borden be like Rainy River???

res-investor,

Some time ago I emailed REC and requested info on the bedrock type under their claim group and have not been kind enough to respond. If you remember the geological report from the Ontario Minestry of Mines re Timiskaning metasediments being located on the northern part of Borden Lake and it was their recommendation that this area was one to investigate. REC's claim block is located south of PRB's and just might be out of the Timiskaning metamorphosed sediments. That's my take on this but I could be dead wrong and their claims are also found within the favourable rock formation.

It would have been good to get some geo info but for now my money is staying with PRB's claim block. Re your line about 'some confirmation about the mineralized zone extending beyond the 550 m strike, I can only say that the VTEM anomaly was reported to be 1200 m in length. This anomaly exists because of the disseminated sulphides. The gold is found in associated with the sulphides and by association I am a firm believer in an additional 650 m of strike length of the surface low grade gold. A big step out but one that I am confortable with but only the drill can tell us this for sure.

On a similar thread I am sure that our senior geologist [DP] has now observed enough core to add significant confidence to where the drill collars go. The cores show the geo what rock has the highest grade, what sulphide minerals are present within the sulphides because these will be visable, sulphide minerals such as pyrite, pyrrohote, maybe chalcopyrite, etc are all identified in the field. The highest levels of conductance shown by the VTEM anomaly is good near surface areas to get drill core from. In addition to the mineral assemblage, bedrock structure is also impt; faults, fractures and orientations of same as well as rock color are important. Just another reason for David to be on site, at least until he has a firm understanding of the geological setting to the 200 m depth.

As usual I remain bullish but in geology there can be little certainty so we wait and wait for the drill. JMO
