"All of the same things were said about SPQ and FWR and we see how history has treated them"
Right on, Sum. The speculation is that this is a buyout coming. There were some huge projections during the FWR fiasco as well as the SPQ one, none of which carried the day, although most of the holders came away with surplus dollars in their pockets.
If the same thing is happening here, and I agree it probably is, there is a considerable difference. FWR had Noront to carry the fight against CLF, while SPQ had KWG in their corner. With PRB there will be nobody around to carry our banner, and it also appears that the split with NOT will lend itself to facilitating the deal.
I have heard talk of a 27% premium. Whether this premium is on the last closing, or on the average of last 10 days trading, or something else, is anyone's guess. But suffice to say, any premium will still be an increase from where ever we are when it comes.
1.10-1.15 will give us a 50mill market cap, for a small chunk of land with one corner of it in the chrome. As I always like to look down the road a bit, I am now speculating on what FNC will get when the time comes there???
Best regards
