Thanks again. You have a man with considerable insight and balanced opinion.
Last time when I talked to Probe, they may release a bundled new release regarding current drilling and West Timmins' jv status in early coming week. According to the record, it took 2-3 weeks to complete drilling for 8 holes. Dave should know by now whether it hit chromite in the first couple holes at least. I'm also expecting a positive reply from West Timmins and hope to hear a commitment by WTM for summer drilling this year. West Timmins (WTM:V) share price closed at $1.73 as of last Friday. West Timmins Mining Inc. recently reported the broadest high-grade gold intercept ever reported from the West Timmins district -- an impressive 83.4 metres (273.55 feet) grading 12.75 grams per tonne (g/t) (0.37 ounce per ton) gold.
I sincerely hope for the best to all of us!!
Aug. 5, 2008 - Victory Assay Results
Geochemical results have been received for the Company's recently completed drilling on its 100%-owned Victory project. Core samples from hole V08-27, which intersected a 30 metre thick unit of sulphide mineralized ultramafic intrusive, returned anomalous values of nickel, copper, platinum and palladium throughout the section. The ultramafic is situated at the end of an over 300 metre long airborne conductor and suggests the potential for higher-grade and thicker mineralization towards the middle of the zone. A VTEM airborne survey is now being planned for the area in preparation of further drilling.
Holes V08-24, V08-26 and V08-27 all returned anomalous values of copper and zinc within sulphide mineralized sections of the volcanic sequence and indicate a potential for volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) type deposits within the volcanic package.
