Some technical chart perspective

Aside from fundamentals, there is always something cooking on any chart. Talk about being subjective, we all read charts differently. It's like looking at a painting, we all see different things.

I happened to view the 5 year bar chart of Probe Mines tonight and came up with another perception.

For a short discussion, I'm sizing up Bollinger Bands tonight. These are the red pairs of lines, seemingly keeping the weekly ranges of Probe within them. Sometimes the ranges go outside of the pair of red moving lines. In late 2008 and early 2009 this happened to the upside. Supposedly, these means too far too fast. Most of the excesses that I have noticed seems to be higher, as opposed to being lower.

The point of this entry is to bring to the attention of the group "angles" of the higher red lines and their apparent significance. It seems that major long term accumulation takes place following a decent from highs when the upper red line almost gets into the position of being horizonal and continues for a matter of mostly, months. On the other side of the coin, when this line starts to excel and gets to a approximate degree ascent of over 50% the same insider that bought when it was horizonal starts thinking of scaling out of the position.

In addition, when the two red lines start to converse holding the shares in a limited tight trading range, according to Bollinger Band rules, then a following move is to be expected. The current condition of Probe from the 5 year chart is showing such a converging pattern along with the top red line slowly positioning itself, possibly, for going horizonal.

The way I view this action is the insider has been buying Probe for a little while now and plans on greatly adding to the position as the weeks advance along with the top line going flat. This is the other side of investing: When it is quiet and everyone is depressed, it is the time for patient money to enter the picture for the next big move, whatever the reasons are going to be in the future. Maybe, they just buy the stock and invent the reasons later on. How do you think the big international banks through history made so much money and became so powerful, they invented the future.

Patience is a virtue. Go Probe!
