i disagree with that assumption that diverting the rig is a negotiating ploy. i think it means a deal is really close as the last thing noront would want is probe to hit a great hole. the deal could be in the final stage. if i wanted to force noront to get serious about negotiating i would be parking my drill right next to their land and begin drilling. it seems a huge concession to divert the drill in the early stages of negotiating. i may be wrong but i hope in the next few days you will see i'm not.
