In response to: Re: WANTED: A HOLE LOCATIO... by Nickelbag
I'm going to show you two pictures, and with a little bit of your own effort, you can have a pretty good total picture of what we have today within what the potential lies ahead at Eagle 1. First, a detailed map around the current drilling area showing with the local coordinates. The local lines were spaced by 100 m. Can you all locate the L5100 across on Area A? Good, along that line on the NW rim of that big anomaly is where the first two holes were drilled. Got it? Very well. The history making hole 5 is just 50 m NE from holes 1 and 2, still along the NE rim of the big anomaly. Hole 1: Local(T1210, L5100), UTM(5843646, 547202) Hole 5: Local(T1162, L5150), UTM(5843654, 547265) The only thing I want you all to remember from this picture is that all announced holes so far (1 thru 19) were in between the local lines L5200 and L5000. Hole 3: Local(T1221, L5200), UTM(5843741, 547251) Hole 9: Local(T1204, L5147), UTM(5843683, 547233 ) Hole 15: Local(T1120, L5015), UTM(5843536, 547191) Hole 4: Local(T1185 L5000), UTM(5843578, 547130 ) That's an area of 200 m long, alright? Now the second picture, which was composed by John Kaiser. On the map local grid lines were separated by 200 m. Can you see worm shaped yellow highlight? Good. That's what John and I think what the potential strike is here. And the upper end of that "worm" is what we have explored and proved today. Along the total potential strike length, the deposits may be continues for a while, and maybe broken at places. The hope is we are going to find them portion by portion. We still have a long way to go. ~p |
